Certified Trainer

So last year I became a certified trainer. It involved 3 days of training on how to teach the software, a 5 minute presentation on anything to do with Davinci Resolve and a 1 hour exam.

I’m just going to say that I really enjoyed the training itself, yes the presentation and exam were a bit scary but being around other educators and learning new ways to get students to connect with the software was really enjoyable.

At the time I didn’t know about the special benefits that this also includes such as free monthly masterclasses, a 20% discount on all Blackmagic products and a listing on their website as an official trainer.

As an extra bonus you are invited into a closed Facebook group that had most of my colour grading heroes in with the ability to chat and pick their brains.

Ultimately it made me a better teacher and I look forward to implementing the training with my students.
