Fixed - Feature Film

Its always interesting working on a long form project and Fixed was no exception. The film was made during lockdown with a modest budget, that was written to take place largely in one room with one central character.

The film was shot on a RED camera with dramatic low key lighting to reflect the shady world of illegal underground boxing and the people that bet and profit from it.

I enjoyed leaning into the gritty nature of the subject matter and found once an initial print film emulation was decided upon, the actual colour grading flew along at pace.

A project that was born out of necessity during lockdown turned global crisis into a powerful creative force.
